Astronautalis and P.O.S. collaboration release debut single
Astronautalis has ONCE AGAIN teamed up with P.O.S., now as an official duo called Four Fists. Below is the release of their debut single, “MMMMMHMMMMM,” so everyone take a minute to take in the awesomeness before heading over to pre-order the 7″ single over at Doomtree (album to drop October 8).

Hanging out poolside with Astronautalis

Charles Andrew Bothwell- a.k.a. Astronautalis- is one of the most interesting people in the world (right up there with the Dos Equis guy). He is one of those people that always has something to say, and it is always something you want to listen to and know more about. Really makes interviewing him effortless and downright enjoyable.
Andy was in Athens this past weekend performing and MC-ing for the Team Clermont 15th Anniversary Summer Showcase & Prom. While he was in town, I got the chance to reunite with him for the first time since our first interview.
After meeting up at his hotel and getting hooked watching Olympic women’s archery (really intense stuff, people), we headed over to the pool to chill out and get our interview on.
So here it is! Astronautalis talking about what’s been going on since our last interview, new collaborations, musings on Eastern Europe, getting robbed in Atlanta, and his upcoming tour and album (I also think it’s important to note that this is his first ever shirtless interview. Proud.). Enjoy! I know I did…
Backstage with Astronautalis
Just got back from interviewing Astronautalis at The Masquerade in Atlanta. This. Was. Awesome.
Before I get to the show, let me talk about the interview. This guy is completely fascinating to talk to (which might explain why the interview ended up going for almost an hour- had to edit the video down and cut it into three parts).
Now for the show- first, let me just say…the audience absolutely adores this guy (with good reason, let me tell you). If you can’t make it to a show, which I adamantly urge you to do, check out some YouTube videos of his live performances. You’ll get it.
Major highlight of the night was the famous freestyle that he does at the end of his shows. He chooses a few people from the audience to give him topics, and then he raps about them on the spot. It’s pretty dang awesome. And guess what? He rapped about Vinyl Mag. No big deal. We’re officially awesome.
Check out the interview below, and then get online, find his latest show, and get on over there.
