New obsession: Santa Cruz’s Totoake, who, fortunately for me, just released a new song, “Can’t You See.” Is it the catchy-as-hell, can’t-stop-bobbing-my-head pop beats, or is it the delightfully lo-fi surf-rock licks that make this song work so well? I’m gonna make a safe bet that it’s the combo of the two. Check out “Can’t You See” below, and don’t be surprised if you hit repeat…several times.

N.A.S.A. and Karen O (leader singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs if you live under a rock) are sharing a disco remix of Bob Marley’s “I Shot The Sheriff.” The collaboration first debuted in an advertisement during the Grammys.

Hey here’s another cool thing – Bayside recently had a cover contest for “Time Has Come” where fans were given the tabs and lyrics to the song and asked to create their own unique interpretation before the song’s release.
