Click below to listen to Tom DeLonge sing a bunch of random words in a row and then a chorus about a girl who bites like a wolf.
“The Wolfpack” is a song from AVA’s upcoming fifth album, The Dream Walker.
Magic is real.
Last night, Daniel Radcliffe stopped by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to talk about his new movie, “Horns” (which looks bonkers).
More importantly, he divulged that he has a passion for rap music and was challenged by Fallon to rap Blackalicious’ “Alphabet Aerobics” on stage.
The results are everything. Watch below.

Earlier this morning, rock band Diarrhea Planet blessed fans’ ears with another single off of their upcoming EP, Aliens in the Outfield.
Staying true to the ’90s vibe that songs like “Heat Wave” give off to listeners, the band has returned with “Bamboo Curtain.” The track is Weezer-esque, with drummer Casey Weissbuch taking a jab at lead vocals this go around.
Check it out below. The song is only 1:53 long, but it goes hard the whole time with the DP-typical cheery hooks and deep, contemplative lyrics.
Aliens in the Outfield release Nov. 18th via Infinity Cat Recordings.
Angels & Airwaves (vocalist/guitarist Tom DeLonge of Blink-182’s other band) are out with their new song, “Paralyzed,” off of their upcoming fifth album, The Dream Walker.
It wouldn’t be an AVA release if it didn’t include a massive amount of other mixed media releases along with it. In addition to the record, we can look forward to an animated short film, comic series, and a live-action feature film. Haven’t heard when the actual album release date is, but we’ll keep you posted.
It definitely wouldn’t be an AVA release without a small dash of the Tom DeLonge pretension. Says DeLonge of the project:
I always envisioned AVA as more than just a band. I saw it as a transmedia storytelling experience, an art project, exploring larger themes that touched on human behavior. We’ve tried to further the ambition of the band with each project and with The Dream Walker, I feel that we’ve taken things to an entirely new level.
Check out the song below, and let us know what you think!
Nashville band Diarrhea Planet recently dropped a new track in preparation for their upcoming album, Aliens in the Outfield.
The song, “Heatwave,” is a truly hot three minutes full of alternating beats. The song starts off with the signature DP medley of guitars that’ll make you feel as if you stepped into a rock stadium. The song continues into a calmer and lighter beat around the one minute mark, and after a brief minute or so, jumps right back into the hard rock guitar session.
The track actually makes you feel as if you are experiencing a heat wave – if you’re from the South, you know what that means – taking you from a blood rush to calm and right back to a racing heartbeat.
In the exclusive release via GuitarWorld.com, guitarist/singer Jordan Smith explains the meaning of the song:
“‘Heatwave’ essentially is a song about crowd-surfing based on my personal experiences with two friends…the first half of the song is about the first time we crowd-surfed one of my best friends in college, and how exciting it was to see her up there getting tossed around by the crowd…the second half is about a close friend of mine who passed away and was known for crowd-surfing a lot at shows in Nashville. The quiet part of the song is basically me saying everything I wished I could have said to him before he died and didn’t get a chance to say…it’s me apologizing for being distant and unable to share my thoughts and feelings with him when I should have been opening up to him and being a better friend, and how I’d give anything to have him back crowd-surfing with me.”
Diarrhea Planet have spent the past year on the road and have been seen at festivals including SXSW 2014 and Gov’s Ball and will be back on tour alongside JEFF the Brotherhood.
Their album, Aliens in the Outfield, will be available November 18 on vinyl and download via Infinity Cat Recordings.

“Drink the Water” is the second track from ArchiveX’s debut album, Some Ungodly Hour.
Be warned: This track is basically what would happen if gospel Elvis decided to mess around with hip-hop. Hallelujah, Mama.
Canadian-based Austra have released a cover of Duran Duran’s “American Science,” and it’s perfect and fresh and…so Austra. The single comes from the upcoming Duran Duran tribute, Making Patterns Rhyme: a tribute to Duran Duran, out in August.
We are of the belief that covers should be more like reinterpretations of songs – otherwise, what’s the point? Remaking a song without adding your own creative stamp seems like a waste of time, and Austra seems to agree. Though the song sounds nothing like the original, we’re not complaining.
