New obsession: Santa Cruz’s Totoake, who, fortunately for me, just released a new song, “Can’t You See.” Is it the catchy-as-hell, can’t-stop-bobbing-my-head pop beats, or is it the delightfully lo-fi surf-rock licks that make this song work so well? I’m gonna make a safe bet that it’s the combo of the two. Check out “Can’t You See” below, and don’t be surprised if you hit repeat…several times.

N.A.S.A. and Karen O (leader singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs if you live under a rock) are sharing a disco remix of Bob Marley’s “I Shot The Sheriff.” The collaboration first debuted in an advertisement during the Grammys.

Bayside releases “Time Has Come” single

Bayside has finally announced some info on their sixth studio album CULT, being released on February 18th via Hopeless Records.  Let us all get excited. In the meantime, check out the lyric video for the new single “Time Has Come” below.

Hey here’s another cool thing – Bayside recently had a cover contest for “Time Has Come” where fans were given the tabs and lyrics to the song and asked to create their own unique interpretation before the song’s release. The grand prize winner (Sulene) was revealed today, and we’ve got her winning video below.
